We are happy to announce the launch of Navitrol Lite, a streamlined version of our Navitrol navigation software. Navitrol Lite was designed to make AMR & AGV automation more accessible for simple applications.
Built on Navitec’s proven experience in natural feature navigation, Navitrol Lite provides reliable navigation capabilities while focusing on affordability. The new software enables manufacturers and solution providers to deploy cost-efficient AMR & AGV platforms without the complexity of full-scale automation systems.
Navitrol Lite is compatible with flatbed differential-drive and single-steer drive AMRs & AGVs operating in simple route networks, managing simple tasks, and handling payloads under 900 kg. The solution supports ARM-based hardware, allowing deployment on energy-efficient hardware such as NVIDIA Jetson and Raspberry Pi 5, which helps reduce system costs while maintaining reliable performance.
The software is offered as a subscription model, aligning with RaaS, rental, and subscription-based business models increasingly used in the robotics industry.
Navitrol Lite is fully compatible with Navithor, and other fleet management systems via VDA5050 communication. This allows manufacturers to integrate Navitrol Lite-powered vehicles into broader ecosystems and scale their solutions as operational requirements grow.
The new offering is aimed at AMR & AGV manufacturers, robotics startups, and small to medium-sized companies developing in-house solutions for logistics and manufacturing environments.
